While I agree 100% that the Knicks front-office has basically destroyed the team, I will have to respectfully disagree that Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph are "identical players". Curry isn't half the player Randolph is. Randolph is a stronger rebounder, more versatile, has a greater arsenal of scoring moves, and is a surprisingly decent FT shooter for a big man. Compare that to Curry who can't get a rebound to save his life and has to be force-fed the ball to even come close to sniffing 20ppg (in a conference devoid of big men, no less). Randolph has done much more than Curry and has done it in a tougher conference, day-in and day-out against some of the most talented big men in the league. I still don't think this trade really helps them though. The Knicks really need to get some of their huge contracts (for marginal players) of their books and picking up Randolph's $60mil contract isn't exactly a step in the right direction.

As for the Blazers, I just wonder what is going to happen a few years down the road when all of the rookie contracts they are stockpiling demand extensions...

Hey, there are worse crimes being committed out there. But Zeke has failed to conduct himself in a professional manner, added with his inability to produce results as head coach and President, would be enough to rid him of any other team in the L. Only a team as dysfuncitonal as the Knicks would allow this tirade to continue. Maybe if the Knicks had an owner who cared more about his team than he did about travelling around the city with his band to play gigs, something would be done. Also wanted to mention that attendence of Dolan's employees in attendence for his shows is taken. This guy is a joke. He pisses away millions on mistakes and makes up for it by charging more to his cablevision customers.

Zak, not saying Zeke is a great GM but that lawsuit is pretty much a bunch of bull. Look at what she's suing for. It's ridiculous and one of the three issues didn't even allegedly happen to her!

For anybody else who is interested in Thomas' blunders in New York, he is also facing a lawsuit for sexual harassament. This is an entertaining story http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2921831

Good breakdown of the Knicks' poor personnel decisions. As a fellow Knicks fan, I can only say that I have grown tired of hearing about the completely uninformed and laughable decisions made by this organization. I wonder if the Knicks are still paying out on Houston's 100 million dollar deal (sly retirement by the way), Larry Johnson's multi-million dollar back injury (I meant contract), and the huge deal they gave to one of the best centers ever to grace the NBA (sorry maybe that was an overstatement...after all it was the washed up Luc Longley who rode Jordan and Pippen's coatails with the Bulls). Regardless of the whole heap of issues that the Knicks have had in the past with players and coaches, I agree that Isiah Thomas is utterly worthless and should be canned. But, if you want to start rebuilding the franchise, it all starts from the point guard position. With Starbury running the show, the Knicks are a long way from ever having a winning team, nevermind making the playoffs. Remind me, how many times has Marbury played for a winning team? Man, it hurts to be a Knicks fan these days, but I still have faith that somehow they will be restored to the dominating force they once were in the Eastern Conference.
