For a sports agent blog, we sure do cover Matt Leinart quite a bit. Let’s do a quick recap…

• April 26, 2007: I reported that Leinart cut his marketing ties with Creative Artists Agency after only one year of representation [Cross CAA Off Of Leinart’s List Of Friends].
• May 4, 2007: News comes out that Leinart got mad at CAA because Peyton Manning received a guest spot on Saturday Night Live before Matty Boy [Matt Leinart Just Needs A Big Hug].
• June 12, 2007: Leinart signs with CSMG to handle all of his off-the-field business [Matt Leinart's New Girlfriend].

The journeyman has been pretty quiet since signing with CSMG. Until now. The man who was jealous of Peyton for landing a spot on SNL may be on his way to becoming a name in Hollywood (and it has nothing to do with him ignoring his child). You may be seeing Leinart in a theater near you in the next couple of years. That is because he has landed a role in an untitled Adam Sandler project [Matt Leinart -- 'Acting' Like a Good Dad Should?]. I am hoping that Rob Schneider is sitting somewhere thinking, “You can DO it!”
