I was shocked to see a guest blogging appearance over at Sports Business Radio Blog today. It is usually Brian Berger talking about issues from a Public Relations point of view. Anyway, he had NBPA agent Bill Kent (Sports Management Worldwide Director of Basketball) on the site, giving a little information to the common sports reader about some of the trials and tribulations of being a sports agent.
It is an interesting read, but most of what Kent has to say reaffirms much of what a reader of this blog already understands. The industry is sexy, there is a lot of money changing hands, and it is tough to trust anyone besides yourself.
