Sounds like you guys are all haters. Isn't part of being a successful sports agent developing relationships? One of the most common ways to gain clients is by already representing one of their friends or family members. If you provide good service to an athlete they will recommend you to their buddies, its part of the business. Who cares what the motive was for signing this athlete, as long as he is given the same service as any other client.

Darren Haliburton led his AIFL team (equivalent to AFL2) from New Mexico in every receiving category, including recording 24 touchdowns. Darren was also a part of the Minnesota Vikings 2008 training camp and was one Jared Allen signing away from making their practice squad. I would assume that this would clear up your extremely uninformed, knee-jerking statement about is pro potential.

Darren is a great kid who was actively looking for representation, and when we signed him up, I was still unaware about either of his brothers. To this date, I have not mentioned either of Darren's brothers to him. It would be a violation if I actively pursued either brother, and if they want to find me, that's their business. I just let me work speak for itself and concentrate on the task at hand. I hope this clears anything up!

What many of your are forgetting and ultimately charging Darren with is being a good agent; this requires him to constantly network to furthur advance his company.

USF bulls,

haliburtons youngest brother deandre is a CB at nc state, this could be an attempt to develop a strong relationship in hopes of landing the younger morgan. idk but heitner has somethin up his sleeve i think

Haliburton is a good kid. Darren, Clarence, and Elton were solid guys to add in the infancy of our football division. I have confidence that we will find them jobs in the near future. Dajuan has nothing to do with our signing of Darren. I have absolutely no intention of "stealing" clients from other agents. After all, one of the main purposes of this blog is to create a more congenial atmosphere amongst agents and attempt to filter out the dirtier side of the business.

Can you explain the eason for bringing in Haliburton? He will never be able to play higher than afl2 (if that) because he simply isnt good. I am really curious where you see him ending up. And also, does his brother dajuan morgan of the KC Chiefs have anything to do with you bringing him in? Maybe trying to establish a relationship so you can take dajuan away from ben dogra?

For obvious reasons, it is still too early to update our football client sheet. We have added one player, Darren Halliburton, but the rest will come shortly as college players who do not have bowl games begin to sign and once the bowl season is over, hopefully more come our way. The basketball sheet will be updated as players sign with clubs. V'Angelo has signed with a CBA team and is currently in training camp. We'll get that updated shortly.
