amatoGary Amato is a 6’2 200 lbs pitcher out of Penn State University. He was born in Cocoa Beach,FL, where he led Cocoa Beach High School with a 1.64 ERA, 72 strikeouts and a .403 batting average his junior year (’03); and as team captain senior year (’04), putting up a 1.08 ERA with 117 strikeouts and a no-hitter during senior season.
