Introducing the NFL-Wharton Prep Leadership Program

An exciting new opportunity is available for student athletes who are interested in furthering their leadership skills. The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and the NFL have teamed up to offer the NFL-Wharton Leadership Program, a three day course aimed at rising high-school seniors who are due to graduate in 2013. The course is scheduled for the 25th to 27th of June in Philadelphia, PA.

The course is designed to give student athletes that extra edge before entering collegiate athletics. Among the topics discussed are Basics of Leadership and Professional Development. The course also includes areas such as Career Development, which highlights often forgotten and valuable lessons in public speaking, resume writing and networking. The course will be comprised of panels, discussions and group work.

If you are interested, you had better act fast as applications close on the 15th of March. To ensure the highest quality applicants are successful, only 36 places will be offered. All costs associated with the course are covered, with selected applicants only having to cover the cost of transport.
