The applicants that have been selected to fill positions in Dynasty’s Fall 2008 Intern Class have been notified. Congratulations to Dynasty’s third internship class and its first Fall Class: Danielle Buntyon, Corey Rosen, Eli Klein, and Jason Sandler.

There are a few interesting facts about the names listed above. For one, we said that Dynasty would only be taking three interns for this Fall period, which lasts four months. Instead, we selected four. Jason Sandler is a University of Florida student and I have decided to make a tradition of giving preference to my alma mater. I did not want that to be a limiting consequence to our other applicants, though. Jason will be able to work with me in-person to help further Dynasty’s development while the other interns work from their current locales. Additionally, the ladies woke up and sent me applications. Danielle was not our only female applicant, but definitely stood out from the pack. We are thrilled to bring a female into the fold.

Here are some short bios on those chosen to enter the Dynasty family:

Danielle Buntyon has a very broad background in event coordination and marketing. She has a Bachelors degree in Professional Studies, Sociological Marketing from the University of Memphis and just obtained her Masters of Science, Sports Management from Middle Tennessee State University. She has already begun studying for next year’s NFLPA exam, as she wishes to become NFLPA certified for the 2010 NFL Draft. In the past, Danielle has worked as a Graduate Assistant in the athletic marketing department at MTSU and served as an Assistant Director for the prestigious M-Club at the University of Memphis.

Corey Rosen also has experience working in his school’s athletic department. He has grassroots marketing and in-game promotions experience and will continue working in the Corporate Sales division for the University of Maryland Athletics Association this coming year. Corey is going into his Sophomore year at the University of Maryland, but has a thirst to become an integral part in Dynasty’s growth. He is highly skilled in computers, experienced with web development and graphic design, and is familiar with Java and HTML. As a company that places a strong emphasis on new media, branding, and reputation management, we believe that Corey is a perfect fit.

Eli Klein is going into his Senior year at Cornell University. Like the two interns listed above, he too is a member of his Athletic Department. Eli is a part of Cornell’s Sports Marketing Group and additionally serves as the Public Address Announcer for many of Cornell’s varsity sports. He is on path to earn his Bachelors of Science degree in Communication with an Applied Economics and Management Minor, and a Law and Society concentration. Eli has also made the Dean’s List four times at Cornell. He is the Sports Director of a radio show in Ithica, NY and has interned at Fox News Channel in the past.

Jason Sandler is Dynasty’s first University of Florida intern. He does not have the same sports background as Dynasty’s other interns, but has shown a strong desire to contribute to Dynasty’s success in any way possible. Jason is entering his senior year with a 4.0 GPA in his major (Political Science). He is a member of Golden Key and has a strong background in mass communication.

As Dynasty continues to grow, the intern classes have grown in size and the talent continues to impress all of us who listen in on the interviews and read all of the resumes. Justin Herzig and Usama Mirza, Dynasty’s current interns who will be done with their four month journey at the end of this month, have expressed a strong desire to continue working with Dynasty in the future. We are glad to continue our relationship with them, as they were excellent additions to the family this past summer. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this young and rising company.

It is officially that time of the year again. Dynasty Athlete Representation, LLC is excited to graduate its second class of interns and welcome in its third group of qualified young, ambitious, and driven men/women to the family. As of writing this post, I have archived over twenty applications (cover letter + resume) for the Fall 2008 class, and many of the candidates are extremely tempting. The current interns will be finishing up their internship at the end of August and the new class will officially begin Dynasty business on September 1, 2008. If you are interested in applying for a position to become a part of our selective and growing family, please send your resume and a cover letter (optional) to HR@dynastyreps.com.

If you are interested in applying, please read this information:

What: Dynasty Athlete Representation, LLC will be selecting a non-disclosed number of interns to serve an active role in the development of all current business and future Dynasty endeavors. Interns will be given complete access to confidential information. It is a non-paying internship.

When: Applicants are encouraged to apply up until 12 p.m. EST Friday, August 8, 2008. Any applications submitted after that date and time will not be considered for the Fall 2008 class.

Who: Anyone may apply. Preference may be given based on a myriad of factors, including: education, experience, location, connections, etc.

Where: Accepted interns will be able to go about their education/work from their current locale. The internship will entail heavy contact and availability; however, we believe that moving to a new venue is unnecessary.

If you are interested in applying, please send your resume and any other pertinent information to HR@dynastyreps.com. We will be making initial cuts by August 15th. Not all applicants will receive phone interviews. We look forward to hearing from you!
